 Out of Hours emergencies

If you have a medical emergency outside surgery our (8.30-6pm) then call Medicom on 01603 448448 and they will put you in touch with a medical professional.

From 1st of June 2011

We will no longer be offering extended hours, late on a Tuesday and early on a Thursday.  However, we will be offering an early phlebotomy (blood taking) session one day a week, depending on staff availability the day of this may change from week to week, so please ask at reception when the next early morning phlebotomy session is to be.

This is due to the Department of Health cutting the payment made to practices to offer this service, which has meant it is no longer financially viable for us to continue.  However, on analysis of the appointments during extended hours it was found that the phlebotomy service was the most popular service so we felt, on balance it would be in our patient's best interests to continue these.

Branch Surgeries

Rackheath  Salhouse  Horning
Newman Road  Village Hall  Village Hall
Thursday 11.30am  Monday 2.30pm  Thursday 2.00pm

Patients with routine needs, are requested to be at the branch surgery for the start time as the doctor will leave after seeing patients who have arrived.

It is also helpful for those who are able to travel and attend the main surgery that they do so, because there are more comfortable medical facilities available to them there.

Occasionally it may be necessary for us to cancel a branch surgery, dependent on available GP cover.  A notice will be placed in the relevant building in advance to advise patients.
